This week has seriously been SO busy! Ever since we closed on the townhouse, I’ve been slowly moving boxes over.
My mom is actually on spring break this week. She’s a school nurse, so she has been over every other day helping me get the townhouse move in ready. Bless my parent’s hearts – these people even took the whole day yesterday packing my apartment and moving things to the Townhouse while I was at work. If these people aren’t perfect, please stop me now! They’re also planning on hanging out at the townhouse on Friday while some workers come to replace windows!
I will say, it is much easier to move everything over a period of 1 to 2 days. Currently, we’ve been slowly moving boxes since this past weekend, and my stuff is all spread out between two places. Not to mention, I’m not totally sure where everything is.
Since my parents have a free weekend, we decided to go ahead and move everything in on Saturday, so looks like I’ll be in the new place this weekend! FINALLY!
I hope you guys are loving our Townhouse Thursdays. If you’re new around here, check out the first, second, and third building update to check out the progress! For today’s Townhouse Tuesday, I’m sharing the 2nd bedroom and bathroom. Shop the products used when putting together the bathroom and check out the final construction product below!
I love how this room lets in so much natural light. I especially love it because it will never have another house or townhouse in front of it. The four windows overlook the front yard and the street. This room actually has a little sitting area when you walk in the front, but I don’t have a picture of it! Just picture where this picture was taken, a little sitting area behind it! That was one of the selling points of this townhouse. Most second bedrooms we found in Dallas were incredibly small and this one, although it’s still somewhat small, has great natural light, and a nice sitting entry way!
Now, I know this bathroom is small, but the all white features, and (recently installed glass shower doors) really make this room feel functional. Not to mention all of the storage space below the sink, to the left of the sink is a linen closet, and above the toilet is a cabinet! I’m also loving the sea glass shower tile – it really gives off a light, vacation-y feel!
