The first thing you need to know about this skirt is that it’s currently on sale for $15! That alone should make you automatically love it. I actually found this skirt at the mall when I wasn’t looking to buy anything. I was going to H&M for a return and swished through their sale section. I saw this skirt and there was only one size, which happened to be my size. Clearly meant to be.
The skirt has a natural pleat and is stretchy, one of the best things about a skirt IMHO. The top of the skirt cinches in, so if it’s a bit small or a bit large, it will most likely still fit! It doesn’t have too much fabric so it can pair really well with a few different types of tops. Pleating is so perfect for different body types. Specifically, if you have larger legs (like me), it’s super flattering.
I’ve been wearing skirts with large sweaters on repeat. I’ve been changing them out with booties, heeled boots, or OTK boots, depending on the sweater. I’ve been adding the hat a lot lately too since hats keep you so warm! For the longest time, I thought I couldn’t wear a skirt in the winter, but it all depends on how warm your head and feet are! It seriously makes a difference.
There are so many sweaters to pair this skirt with. I chose this grey sweater I got during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so it would match these snakeskin booties! The sweater is still sold out (patiently waiting for it to come back in stock), but there are a few similar ones I’d recommend pairing with this skirt. Check out this one, this one, and this one! They all have similar lace-up details, and I think would pair well with a tuck!
These booties are some of my favorite non-heel options. Because they are neutral, they pair really well with a lot of options. I tend to wear a lot of grey, white, and black, so they fit into my wardrobe pretty well. These booties are almost sold out and available in limited sizes, so here is a similar pair!
Lately, I’ve been wearing hats on repeat. I hadn’t worn a lot of hats until this past year. This past year I also realized how warm they are. I am always cold in our office. I almost always sit at my desk wrapped in a blanket. One day I wore a hat to the office and realized I was sweating. Ever since that day, if it’s going to be cold out, I throw a hat on. Whether it’s a floppy hat or a beanie, it does its job! I love this floppy wool hat because the floppy edges aren’t too floppy. Meaning it doesn’t fall into your eyesight when you’re trying to you know, live, haha! Even better, it’s currently in stock and on sale! It also comes in a pretty olive color too!
